Driving Test Success Welcomes the DSA Name Change to DVSA


Driving Test Success lead the way in the UK for learner driver training aids, producing PC software, DVD’s, apps, digital downloads and online training.  For over a decade, the Driving Test Success range of Theory Test and Hazard Perception products have been the first port of call for learner drivers, motorcyclists, trainee driving instructors and LGV/PCV drivers.

Since Driving Test Success launched in 1997 there have been a number of changes to different agencies attached to the Department for Transport. The latest change is one which sees the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) renamed to The Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA).

The new DVSA, The Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency sees the joining together of the Driving Standards Agency and the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency.

The DVSA will continue to set standards to learner driver education, ensure upkeep of quality surrounding all test activity and be responsible for the registering and supervising of driving instructors.

Emma Bagnall, Brand Manager for Driving Test Success describes this merger as a great step forward, adding;

These positive sentiments are shared with the DVSA Chief Executive, Alastair Peoples, who stated that bringing testing and standards services in to a single agency makes life easier for users by putting them at the heart of services they rely on.

The next move now is to increase awareness about the name change, especially when a large number of people are still incorrectly contacting the DVLA for DVSA related matters.
